Honest answers from a B2B manufacturer who has been in this craft since 2005. No fluff, no marketing spin : just what you actually need to know before placing a wholesale order.
Yes. Jagruti Imitation Jewellery is a B2B wholesale manufacturer based in Kandivali East, Mumbai, in operation since 2005. We supply retailers, resellers and distributors across India and export to select international markets. Our workshop specialises in temple, South Indian and traditional imitation jewellery : all manufactured on order, never stocked off-the-shelf. Every piece is made to your specification: your reference, quantity and finish.
Yes, any design on order. Share a reference image or sketch on WhatsApp and we quote MOQ, lead time and pricing the same day. We specialise in Lakshmi haaram, Guttapusalu, Kasu mala, jhumka, kemp chokers and full bridal sets in antique gold finish. Even if you have only a rough idea : perhaps a motif you saw in a temple or a piece a customer described : our team can develop the design concept through our 3D CAD process and present you with a rendered proof.
Strictly imitation. All pieces are made from Mazak/Zinc Alloy base metal with antique-gold, matte or high-polish plating. Stonework uses kemp stones (coloured glass cut and polished to mimic rubies, emeralds and other gems), cubic zirconia (CZ) and freshwater pearls. We never represent our work as real gold, silver or precious stones : what you see is honestly crafted imitation jewellery built for retail counters. The word “imitation” is in our name for a reason.
No. We are a B2B wholesale house only. Every order carries a minimum order quantity that is shared over WhatsApp based on the design complexity and production requirements. We do not sell single pieces, samples for personal use, or retail to end customers. Our entire operation : from the mould-making workshop to the stone-setting tables : is geared towards supplying retailers, resellers and distributors who need consistent quality at wholesale volumes.
We supply wholesale across India : Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Ahmedabad, Surat, Pune, Kolkata, Jaipur, Lucknow and virtually any city with courier reach. Pan-India shipping is fully insured and trackable. For export, we currently serve clients in the United States, United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Singapore and GCC countries. If your location is not listed, reach out on WhatsApp and we will confirm whether we can ship to you.
MOQ varies by design and production complexity : it is discussed transparently over WhatsApp once we review your reference. As a general guideline, simpler designs (studs, small pendants) typically require a minimum of 6-12 pieces per SKU, while intricate temple work with dense kemp stone setting may start at 12-24 pieces. We never surprise you with hidden minimums. The number is shared upfront in your quote, and you decide whether it works for your business.
A standard custom order typically takes 15-25 working days from design sign-off to despatch. Complex temple designs with dense stonework or multi-piece bridal sets may require 25-35 working days. The timeline breaks down roughly as: 3D CAD modelling (2-3 days), sample production (5-7 days), your approval window, and then bulk manufacturing (8-15 days). We provide a clear, stage-by-stage schedule at the quote stage and keep you updated with progress photos throughout the process.
Yes : a physical sample is a non-negotiable part of our workflow. We produce one sample piece, courier it to you for hands-on approval, and only proceed with the full batch once you sign off. Sample costs are typically absorbed into the bulk order value. For first-time clients, a nominal sample charge may apply, which is adjusted against the final invoice. Nothing moves to bulk production without your explicit approval : we will never manufacture hundreds of pieces you have not seen and touched.
We work with both, and the choice depends on your requirement. Mazak (Zinc-based Alloy) is lighter, more cost-effective and captures intricate casting detail exceptionally well : ideal for large statement pieces, long haarams and designs with fine filigree. Brass (Copper + Zinc Alloy) is heavier, has a traditional heft and feel, and takes antique gold plating beautifully : it is preferred for pieces where the customer expects substance. We recommend based on the design and your target price point, and you make the final call.
Yes. Standard orders ship in our counter-ready unit boxes, but we can fully customise packaging with your brand name, logo and colour scheme for regular wholesale accounts. Custom box printing involves an external vendor and associated print costs, which we coordinate on your behalf. The process is straightforward: share your brand assets, we get a print proof from our vendor, you approve, and your branded boxes arrive with the jewellery. Bulk-without-box is also an option if you prefer to use your own packaging at your end.
We accept bank transfers (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS), UPI payments, and select digital wallets for domestic orders. For export orders, we accept wire transfers (SWIFT) and provide a proforma invoice with our bank details. Payment terms are discussed at the quote stage : typically a percentage advance to initiate production (usually 50%) and the balance before despatch. GST invoices are provided for all domestic orders. We do not offer credit terms or cash-on-delivery for wholesale orders.
Yes, we export to the US, UK, UAE, Singapore and GCC countries. International orders are shipped via reliable courier partners : DHL, FedEx, or Aramex : with full door-to-door tracking. Customs duties and import taxes are the buyer's responsibility in the destination country; we recommend checking your local regulations before placing an order. We provide all necessary export documentation including a commercial invoice, packing list, and any certificates required. Shipping costs are quoted separately based on weight and destination.
Yes, visits are welcome but strictly by appointment. Our workshop is located near Vishvakarman Mandir, Hanuman Nagar, Kandivali East, Mumbai 400101. Please WhatsApp or call ahead to schedule a visit : we operate Monday to Saturday, 10:30 AM to 7:30 PM IST. An appointment ensures someone is available to walk you through our production process, show relevant samples, and discuss your requirements in person. We recommend bringing reference images or sketches to make the most of your visit.
Yes. We model every custom design in Rhino 3D using Matrix and Matrix Gold : industry-standard jewellery CAD software. You receive a rendered proof image before any tooling or mould-making begins. Revisions to the 3D model are included in the design process; we iterate until you are satisfied with how the piece looks in the render. This step eliminates guesswork, reduces costly rework, and ensures the final physical piece matches your expectations exactly. It is one of the ways we differentiate ourselves from smaller workshops.
Every piece is QC'd against the approved sample before despatch : we check plating consistency, stone setting, clasp function and overall finish. Manufacturing defects reported within 7 days of delivery are eligible for replacement or credit. Normal wear and tear, tarnishing from improper storage or exposure to moisture/perfume, and damage from handling are not covered under warranty. We include anti-tarnish care instructions with every shipment to help your pieces stay counter-ready. Since every order is custom-manufactured to your specification, we do not accept returns for change-of-mind : this is precisely why the sample sign-off step is critical and non-negotiable in our process.
