How Custom Orders Work

Four steps from reference to despatch.

STEP 01

Share Your Reference

Send us a photo, rough sketch, or description of the design you want. Share it on WhatsApp and we'll confirm feasibility, MOQ, and timeline the same day.

STEP 02

3D Model & Proof

We model your design in Rhino 3D with Matrix and Matrix Gold. A rendered digital proof is sent within 24-48 hours. Revisions are included until you're satisfied. Nothing moves forward without your sign-off.

STEP 03

Physical Sample

Once you approve the digital proof, we produce a physical sample and courier it to you. This is the exact piece your customers will receive. You inspect, wear-test, and approve before bulk production.

STEP 04

Bulk Production & Despatch

After sample approval, we produce the full order with plating, kemp stone-setting, hand finishing, QC, anti-tarnish packaging, and shipping to your counter or warehouse.

Every custom design begins its life as a digital model. Using industry-standard Rhino 3D software with Matrix and Matrix Gold jewellery-specific plugins, our CAD team creates precise 3D models and photorealistic renders before a single gram of metal is cast. This means you see exactly what you're getting before production begins.

Mazak/Zinc Alloy : lighter, excellent for intricate casting detail, and takes plating beautifully for wholesale orders.

Antique Gold : our signature. Also available: matte gold, high-polish gold, silver-tone, and rose gold. Multi-layer electroplating with anti-tarnish sealant.

Stonework

Kemp stones (coloured glass) in ruby, emerald, and sapphire. CZ (cubic zirconia) for diamond alternatives. Pearls : freshwater and imitation. All hand-set.

Minimum Order Quantity

Varies by design complexity and whether tooling (mould) is required. Simple designs from 50 units. Complex custom work from 100-200 units. MOQ shared during the quote stage : no surprises.

DESIGN

3D Design & Proof

24-48 hours from brief confirmation. Revisions typically same-day. We don't rush this stage : the proof is your guarantee.

SAMPLE

Physical Sample

5-10 working days from proof approval. Courier delivery within India: 2-4 days additional. International samples: 7-14 days.

BULK

Bulk Production

15-30 working days from sample sign-off, depending on volume. Rush orders considered for regular accounts with premium pricing.

Can you replicate a design from a photo?

Yes. Send us a clear photo on WhatsApp and we'll assess it for replication. The more angles and details you can provide, the more accurate the reproduction. We model in Rhino 3D first so you can see the digital proof before production.

What if I don't have a reference : just an idea?

Describe what you're looking for : style, motif, length, finish, budget. We can create a fresh 3D design based on traditional temple jewellery elements that fit your description. Our CAD team has deep knowledge of South Indian and traditional motifs.

Is there a charge for the 3D design and sample?

Sample cost (including CAD design time) is shared during the quote stage and is adjusted against your bulk order value. For regular accounts with consistent order history, samples may be provided at no upfront cost.

Who owns the design after production?

Upon full payment, you own the physical goods. The CAD files and moulds remain Jagruti's intellectual property unless separately negotiated. We respect your reference designs and do not reproduce custom work for other clients without your permission.

Can you do designs other than temple/traditional?

Absolutely. While temple and traditional are our speciality, we can manufacture contemporary, fusion, Indo-western, minimalist, and statement designs. Send us any reference and we'll confirm feasibility.
